• The development of a new water recycling system for car washes and bus washes at ISTT

  • April 15, 2017

As a synergetic outcome of cohabitation at ISTT, two settled companies Control Niroo Takapoo and Nano1 have produced a new method for recycling water at car washes and bus washes with the use of an Accelerated Bioremediation Process. This process incorporates BioGME organic matter (produced in solid and liquid form by Nano1) to control and improve the quality of water used.

The main principle to this bioremediation process lies in the modulation of bioelectrical parameters of wastewater with the help of bioGME biostimulants. This quick bioremediation process replaces the usual aeration process involved in the reduction of water pollution, thus greatly reducing the costs involved and creating added value during the process.

Dr. Soheili, the C.E.O of Nano1 clarified that in nature the bioremediation process is extremely time consuming and dependant to aerators thus, the advantages of using this new method are double fold; to begin with, this method reduces the time needed for the bio remediation process to work and in addition, it is independent of non-renewable resources.

Dr. Soheili went on to further explain that because of the special conditions created in using this method, the process reaction times have been shortened substantially and because of its ability to use renewable energy sources (Solar Energy) the process costs have been substantially cut down as well.

Mr. Asghar Hojjati, the C.E.O of Control Niroo Takapoo emphasized that the application of this novel method for the recycling of water at car washes and bus washes can also greatly reduce the consumption of water at such sites. This process has the ability to not only eliminate water pollution but to re-cycle 95% of the water consumed for re-consumption.

This new method has been used by Shahin Shahr’s car washes and bus washes for the last 18 months as a trial run for other sites in Isfahan and has thus far yielded more than satisfactory results. The results show that for the last 18 months Shahin Shahr car wash has needed no water substitutions and has been entirely dependent on the recycling system of its wastewater.

With such results Isfahan’s Union Bus Company and other institutions have also opted to use the new technology in their recycling process of wastewater.
